Sliding Scale:

 

Sliding Scale sessions are available on a limited basis based on your resources and availability. If you are interested in my services but are not sure you can afford my fee, please contact me. We can see if we can reach an arrangement or I can provide you with referrals to other clinicians in the area.  

 

Insurance:

I accept a limited number of insurance carriers. Please contact me to check if I am currently accepting your specific insurance. If I do not accept your insurance, I can provide a "super bill" that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Some clients prefer to pay privately to have more privacy, flexibility, and control of their treatment.

 

Health plans vary in terms of how much and what type of mental health treatment they cover. I recommend consulting with your insurance carrier to verify their coverage and reimbursement rates for an out-of-network provider. Some helpful questions to ask would be:

• Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

• What is my deductible and has it been met?

• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

• Is approval required from my primary care physician?

 

Cancellations:  

 

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
